There are a total of 4 new items across both sexes for the children. Unfortunately, for your younger Sims, there isn’t much on offer. They do look amazing though and have many intricate details included with them. I personally won’t be getting much use from these as they don’t fit in with my preference for what my vampires look like, but I know many people are making great use of them.
There are also several new hair styles on offer too, although these are mostly of an extreme style. Many of the additions in this pack also offer plain and lighter options making them a good alternative to wedding attire should you wish to have a vintage look to your Sims’ big day! While most of the options are styled towards a stereotypical Gothic look with reds, blacks and purples, the new items are surprisingly versatile too. Every time you compel them to allow you to drink has a chance to fail, however, and that can really damage the two sim’s relationships.The new additions in Create a Sim offer a good mix of the “classic and traditional” vampire look, while also bringing a good mix of “modern and punkish” style too. Having another sim in your household can mitigate that. Have you considered a roommate? While it gets easier to manage your unholy thirst once you level up enough, it can be dicey in the beginning. When you’re a low level Vampire that doesn’t yet have access to Plasma Packs or can’t find a Plasma Fruit Tree, grabbing a meal can be hard. The extra time you stay awake all night can be spent prowling Lounges and Nightclub for food, or levelling up in skills. It’s much less nerve wracking if you avoid the sun as much as possible. You’ll hardly make it longer than a few hours, and more than once I’ve been in danger of bursting into flames. It goes real fast! It’s tempting to spend time in the sun knowing you won’t die right away, but it’s not worth it. The game will tell you that Vampires won’t die in sunlight unless their Vampire Energy meter is depleted, but they don’t really let you know how fast that meter depletes.
